In this course, you’ll learn to use T-SQL to optimally write queries to select or insert data into SQL Server. You’ll learn to solve real world problems such as Gaps and Islands, TOP N per Group, Dynamic Filtering, Deleting Duplicate Data, paging and more.
You’ll learn how to write and tune Stored Procedures, Functions, triggers and views. You’ll also learn how to efficiently implement error handling and work with transactions in a multi user environment.
The Expert SQL Server Developer Class has a dedicated module on In-Memory OLTP. You’ll learn to implement memory optimized tables and natively compiled stored procedures, migrate data from existing tables to memory optimized tables and compare the performance difference between disk based and memory optimized tables.
The course is relevant to SQL 2005, 2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2014 and 2016.
Each module focuses on providing an optimized way to work with T-SQL. You’ll also learn to implement different types of Indexes where ever applicable.
The course requires attendees to have at least 6 months of experience in T-SQL.
